'In the Meanwhile' Exhibition

We had the absolute pleasure of being involved in the 'In the Meanwhile' art exhibition organised by Bath Spa University, at 17/18 Milsom street between the 17th & 29th May, 2021. We met so many amazing talented people and got to see some of the work Bath Spa students had been creating during their degree and the COVID-19 pandemic. For myself as the artist the feeling of walking around a gallery again and seeing how people interact with artwork was wonderful! The initiative of bringing to life redundant shop fronts with artwork and performance is such a fantastic use of space.

We were able to display 18 of the 50 Original Shooga Bloom People Acrylic Portraits all together. This was a big day for myself as I had not yet seen them all next to one another and it just made me more excited to see the finished 50 sitting side by side. It also allowed many of the models in the portraits to see the original paintings of themselves up close for the first time.
